- Sworn translation – what personal data we collect
According to the Act on the profession of sworn translator, the following data is required: first and last name. The sworn translator enters this data in a repertory. This is a special index of all sworn translations performed by them. In the case of sworn translations, we shall make this data available to the sworn translators who work with us. They are obliged to keep any and all data confidential on the basis of the Act on the profession of sworn translator and the powers granted to them by the Minister of Justice.
On the other hand, the provision of address, e-mail address and telephone number is not obligatory. It is, however, necessary for the purposes of communication and the effective delivery of the ordered translations with an electronic signature. This is also a legitimate interest of the service provider – in this case ATT Translation Agency.
- Ordinary translations – what personal data we collect
Translation services for companies are provided based on tax legislation. We therefore collect all the data of business entities necessary for correct invoicing.
- Do we share personal data with other parties?
We only share your first and last name with the sworn translator who performs the certified sworn translation for you.
On the other hand, we do not share your personal data with any other entities for any other purposes. We only provide company invoice data to payment and accounting service providers.
- Period of retention of personal data
The personal data you have provided (your first and last name) will be stored for a period of 5 years – as required by tax legislation – at the premises of ATT Translation Agency.
- Client rights and the privacy policy of ATT Translation Agency
The client may request access to, deletion of or restriction of processing of personal data concerning them, which in the case of ATT Translation Agency only means deletion of such data and deletion of copies of any documents submitted for translation and translated documents.
